I purchased a lifetime subscription with high hopes, but my experience has been far from satisfactory. The connectivity issues I've faced are frequent and frustrating, making it difficult to fully utilize the service.

On numerous occasions, I've encountered slow speeds and dropped connections, which have disrupted my work and personal activities. This unreliability has made me question the value of the lifetime subscription. It’s disappointing to invest in what was marketed as a long-term solution, only to face ongoing problems that hinder its use.

Overall, I cannot recommend this service due to its persistent connectivity issues.

I regret getting a lifetime subscription. It worked well for the first two to three months, but now the connection is really slow. The Windows app has a slow connection and often drops. Dutch servers are frequently unavailable, have DNS leaks, and I can't get the IKEv2 protocol to work on any device, old or new.

we see that some replies and comments have been removed by either goosevpn or appsumo which we find concerning for transparency. after months of use we can say that the speeds are hit and a miss. often the IP addresses are marked by isps and some websites as black listed which means we can use those services while using goose vpn or until goose vpn changes their ip addresses through which they route traffic.

I'm more than inclined to support the underdogs/newcomers, but this VPN has a plethora of problems.

PROS
1) Works (when it does)
2) Simple to use
3) Cheap

CONS
1) Massive connection issues
2) Connection issues even when I switch countries
3) Less than 25 countries available, out of which only TWO are in Asia (Japan & Singapore)

While i know countries can be expanded over time, it is of no good whatsoever when I simply cannot establish a connection.

When I purchase the app, it works only on Windows with a specific feature, and not working on Android nor IOS,
now it is not working on any platform.

This does not work. I attempted contacting support, it still does not work! It was OK while working for a couple of months, then it stopped working on both of of my computers.

I was trying it on macbook last year there was bugs it was not working on macbook there was login problem i check again after 1 year if there is any improvement but they didnt update since. and from previous reviews seems like they also decrease speed. I think goose vpn is not anymore good for purchase and they never try to improve it.

I like this because it's a dutch company following european rules, not american.
The tool works as expected, i use it sometimes to browse more anonymous and it works fine for that.
The speeds are not always fast tho, i hope this keeps improving.

The app is simple and I had a high hopes for it as they had 2 servers I needed the most - UK and Poland.
But after using it for a few months UK and Polish servers are not usable. First is much slower, and the 2nd one has been flagged by Google. Now every time when I want to use it I have to solve Google's captcha a few times - which takes forever.
Also the internet speed has decreased for me for some reason when connected to GooseVPN. And I was trying both IKEv2 and OpenVPN protocols.
I know of course that the speed will always be lower, but for it to be around 1/10th of the speed with no VPN it's just not worth using (my normal speed is around 100MB and with GooseVPN it goes down to less than 10MB).

After about a month, stopped working completely on all devices.

I really wanted it to work as NordVPN costs me pretty penny. Tried installing and testing both on my own and my son's PCs. The moment we try to 'pretend we're in the US' there's a server error. Support reply wasn't very helpful. Even suggested using 3rd party app. Too many hoops to jump through to get a simple feature to work. And, if my first impression is like this I can't be bothered to spend much time tinkering when I know competitors that simply work. Sorry, but it's a refund for me.
