I got 1 code, signed up tinkered around with Droplr, then felt I wasn't sure what to do with it. The space and bandwidth are nice to have, videos and screencasts- we don't do too many of those for our podcasts(Maybe we should). Then I thought, why not set up one folder per episode- put all the media files together, and share it with the production team? Seems to work. But with one folder per episode, the number of folders could bloat up very quickly.
Finally, I read some of the reviews- to see what do other Sumo-lings use it for? And I'm glad I did.
Now I've got a couple of ideas that I will toy around with and decided not to cancel. Not to mention - since Droplr is great way to share screenshots (and we have over a thousand of them collected over the years - voila! )
The positives so far:
Fast, responsive. Auto shortlinks for sharing are great (pCloud, are you listening?)
The Cons: Would have loved a feature to embed into a webpage or app. Subfolders needed.
