I really like the idea of Codemate, specifically:
• the ability to analyze an entire project
• the ability to assign tasks for refactoring and code generation
• the ability to finally cover the project with tests!
Previously, I used AskCodi, and I can say that it’s a wonderful tool, but it lacks the capability to understand the context of the ENTIRE project in its extension.
Codemate has this feature. This simplifies the development process and allows us to add unit tests directly to the project. As always, we don’t get full approval from clients for time spent on unit tests, as new features are very important for the product to develop and move forward. Therefore, very often the entire focus in development is on new functionality. Plus, new features always require rewriting unit tests. Even using ChatGPT here would be challenging because it needs to understand the whole project.
This product is an absolute solution to my headaches, as it allows us to build a system that aligns with the proper approaches described in classic books.
I thank the developers for bringing this project to the market. I wish the team success in developing the project further, as such solutions change our lives for the better, increase comfort, reduce stress, and make our lives happier and more mindful.
Regarding the limits, I’ll put it this way: I just took the maximum plan. Let’s see how long this limit will last. For me, it comes out to about a million tokens per user. I understand perfectly well that creating an application with unlimited coding is impossible. Even if I exceed the limit, the prices are more than reasonable for this offering. (I mean that additional tokens can be purchased for a reasonable price.)
Another important detail: Codemate works flawlessly; everything is great. I see practical value in it. Sure, you can find ways to get something from various GPTs for free somewhere, but for those who value their time and effort and are focused on results, this is an excellent solution in my opinion. I am incredibly happy to have a service that both I and my team will use.
And yes, a big thank you to the support team. You helped solve all my problems. Thank you so much!
