I decided to dive in and look at Zylvie because I want to get more savvy using carts, adding upsells, showing scarcity when products, workshop places, or services are limited, so Zylvie came at the perfect time.
I had my basic page set up within a few hours. It would have been quicker if I'd had all the copy to hand.
Zylvie is intuitive. Easy to use. Fast set up. Has helpful help '?' sections which you can scroll over to expand rather than having to look everything up in a help section.
I also experienced the lightening fast support. I noticed there was no option to add bullet points to the 'What you get section', which didn't make sense given it is the place you typically use bullet points. All you could do was make things bold, italics, or add an underline. I posted a comment here asking to put in on the features list. By the time I had logged in a couple of hours later, the whole UI had been updated, and there was a message from Jay telling me it was there!
I haven't yet tested the workflow and upsells (nor do I know whether that is possible). However, the basic pages for my first few products are up and running. My draft Zylvie site is here: https://zylvie.com/MarilynDevonish
Having everything in one place via a cart facility, the handy reminder of what you are purchasing on the cart page, and 4 different options for your upsells, with an additional expiration timer, is great. I also like the scrolling images on the sales page because it's a great way to share product testimonials.
There are still lots of areas for me to explore, so I look forward to getting stuck in and utilising all the features and functionality.
A great deal Zylvie and AppSumo. Thank you.
