I don't want to give Xamtac a bad review because it could be a great software, but after having around a month with the software and making little progress on setting it up, I will never know because I requested a refund today.
I am a small business owner doing my own marketing, so I really liked the idea of one software that housed an entire marketing eco system, rather than trying to cobble together different software's.
However, the issues started soon after the purchase. First thing I did was try and setup the integration with my websites DNS. This is not my first time doing this. However, the instructions were unclear, and I could not get the domain to verify.
This brings me to the first major issue: Support. There is no live support, be it chat or other means. There is a contact button to send them a support request. They respond via email. The suggestions were not helpful. We went back and forth, I had to send a lot of information to them via email, and still couldn't get it fixed. At one point there was a period of several days where I didnt get a response. I was about to initiate a refund at that point, but they got back to me, and eventually suggested setting up a video meeting. Had that meeting, got the domain verified, all good. However, from the time I started trying to set it up, to the point where we met, was 12 days. 12 days just to get a domain verified.
At this point, the world was my marketing oyster. I was ready to get going. Until I ran into the next problem. As I initial mentioned, I purchased Xamtac because it had a ton of bells and whistles. Problem is, there is very little documentation on how to use all of these tools. Some basic guides, that truthfully, were not that helpful. So I sent another message several days ago, asking if they maybe had some video walk through guides, or if they could help me with another meeting. I still have not heard back from them. Zero response. At this point, I realized trying to use this software just isn't worth it because the support isn't there, so I initiated a refund.
