I’ve stopped using WP Reset Pro and requested a refund. The core features work, and for smaller sites, it's probably a good idea. But for larger websites, it just wasn’t practical in my case.
My main issue is with their “Unlimited Cloud Storage” upsell — which is highly misleading and probably illegal. The email advertises “unlimited cloud storage for your snapshots,” but what they’re actually selling is unlimited site licenses, each with a hard 3GB per-site cap. That’s a huge difference, and the messaging is not transparent.
One of my WooCommerce site’s snapshots was over 3.5GB, meaning even without buying the upgrade, I could already see it wouldn’t be usable. That made me lose trust in the product overall.
Beyond that, I found:
Snapshots quickly took up a lot of local server space.
My server ran out of space more than once causing my website to crash.
I had to manually monitor and delete snapshots often.
Even with auto-delete after a few days, 2–3 snapshots could take up nearly 10GB.
To top it off, my Google PageSpeed score dropped from 99 to 39 after installing the plugin — that was the final red flag for me.
The product does have potential. But the dishonest marketing and impracticality for larger, dynamic sites made it a no-go. I’d advise anyone managing a production-level site to test carefully and keep a close eye on server resources.
Having reviewed this from all directions I jumped on the basis that it was likely to save me in the long run. While that day remains in the future I've got the peace of mind that no matter what there are little snapshot backups I can use when needed.
It was simple enough to deploy and while I know things like the dashboard will evolve with time, so far it is ticking away as the tool you need. That's its purpose, it is a tool, a specialist one, for those special hopefully never instances.
For those of us who have had to debug seemingly random issues I know it would have saved me the purchase price many times over.
Honestly, I forgot I had this plugin. I was doing a site redesign and stupidly decided to update plugins before backing up. And crash! Then I restored a backup from cpanel and realized WP Reset was there doing automatic backups and, sure enough, restored my site to 15 minutes before the crash. Worth the price of admission.
I don't perform intensive Wordpress overhauls often.
Let's say about 3-4 times over the last several years.
The last time I did, I used some backup plugin that required downloading and uploading and then waiting for the restore to occur.
WP Reset is amazing and the "Tools" tab has more features for me to expore.
From early morning yesterday, I spend the day giving Elementor a try.
While it is pretty and has nice features, the UI and UE are pitiful.
I must have clicked some Gutenberg Blocks while inside the Elementor Interface and it broke much of the configurations as it converted the Gutenberg Blocks to Elementor.
Anyhow, by nightfall, I had had enough of Elementor and noticed the mess it had done to the homepage and uninstalled it.
I didn't know what I would have to reinstall or edit to get it the homepage back to normal.
Luckily, 2 weeks ago, I purchased WP reset and set it up before editing the homepage.
Snapshot have great titles like, "Before Elementor v.xxxx was installed" which help, too.
All I had to do was click "Restore Snapshot" from the morning and blink, it was done.
Instead of spending hours trying to fix what Elementor broke, I can write this review.
Back to normal, thank you Webfactory.
Using WP, the worst is one day your site may break due to plugin update. After install this plugin a few days, my site break with plugin conflict. The auto snapshot is very helpful, can revert back like a breeze! I have two plugins from this company WP lockdown, and WP reset, all great quality. 5 tacos!

I'm very happy with my purchase. I have not used all the features available but I can only assume they should work when I need them. I mainly needed this to reset sites after testing and it does and amazingly good job. I'm impressed with how fast it is and how stupid easy it is to use. Anyone that isn't very tech savvy could use this easily, the overall UX is great, the UI is clean quick and has clear explanations.
the snapshot help to find out which plugin has conflict, I haven't try collection yet
When I tried to install the plugins with their licenses in a new websites, I get the following error:
An undocumented error has occurred. Please refresh the page and try again.
I bought this program only because the plugin manager but it does not work properly.
I bought this product to help recover my WP site should it crashed. I had to deal with this issue a few weeks ago and it was a nuisance. After I installed the WP Reset I noticed that the cloud uploads had an issue. I had the wrong settings in the plugin and my webpage memory needed to increase.
Milos from Webfactory was quick to responded to my support ticket and got all my issues sorted in no time.
I'm extremely happy I bought this tool. No more crashed-site-headaches for me.
If you don't have this tool, then why not? The tool is great and the service is brilliant.
