Your shortcut to productivity
This is one of the most useful purchases I've made on appsumo. It works, saves me time and makes following up with leads a lot simpler. I've been using it for about 3 months and it has become a staple of my workflow. Would definitely recommend.
I have keyboard maestro but I always forget the keys. Typedesk system of acornyms is much beter. It works flawlessly. Better still I got 50 seats! Crazy! And even better still they just updated. it with a native Chat GPT integration. This is how to deliver on a promise. Thank you. #tacofest
I bought this product a long time ago and I have just started to used it more now. I love this product, it simplifies my life and work so much ; on top it is so userfriendly !!

The shortcuts do not work. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it does not work. When it works, typedesk will copy and paste the response 2 times.
Amazing value for money, for day to day usage almost on par with what I consider the industry standard Textexpander.
Some things I'm missing and I hope that the team is working on it:
- cursor macros, such as place the curse into a point after inserting
- keyboard macros, this would be very useful with e.g. emails. Think about the scenario where with a command you can paste address from the clipboard (this is possible), and hit TAB twice to jump into the body of the email, and add additional text or variables there
- Time modifiers, currently we can add days but not hours.
- granular control on the date format within the date variable, would be very useful in bi-lingual environments where the date format depends on the language
- custom trigger keys, currently you can only choose from the defaults -> ; : / .
- currently you can add plain or formatted text and pictures, but it would be nice to also use applescript, shell script, or javascript as content to be expanded.
All of the above are nice to haves, regardless, Typedesk definitely deserves 5 tacos.
Wow I almost missed this deal, but honestly I would have purchased it anyways had I found it afterwards.
I am a remote support engineer (for 10 years now) and I have been looking for a tool like this for a long time as I'm building my agency and also provide a lot of technical support for WordPress and related tools. I always found myself wanting to re-use some repeated texts such as email intros, email endings, and some common replies.
The helpdesk software I have used always fell short because I would have to search through the "saved replies" and then tweak them. In most cases it would have taken me less time to just type it out.
Now I have been using Typedesk for a short time and it has already saved me hours of time because I can save my replies and even create variations of them. Then use a simple Quick Response Keyboard Shortcut which either puts the text in there or pops up a window to let me choose which variation to use.
I especially like the way I can create folders and organize my saved responses.
While at the moment it's "Just me" I went ahead and got two codes anyways. I just love the idea of the team folders.
This is the ONE app that is going to make 2023 and beyond more productive than I have ever been before, and I have already told a lot of friends about this deal. I hope they get their codes soon!
Typedesk is easy to use, it works 100%, and it's such a joy to use.

5 tacos for sure. I've tried so many different ways to bookmark and this is an amazing product. I bought an extra code so I could share it. I hope they do well and continue to grow because I want to keep it for a long time.

There are many text expanders/canned response apps, but TypeDesk is my favorite with its team features and its very good UX

TypeDesk is making so many tasks so much easier in my business.
Just about every day I discover a new way to use it and to make my work so much easier.
Not only does it make so many repetitive tasks way faster and easier, but it also eliminates the need to proofread the same essential content over and over.
The Form Fill feature is the golden taco in this app.
This is one of my favourite purchases on AppSumo so far (and I have purchased quite a few).

Since I have discovered Typedesk I save plenty of time.
How? I don’t have to write repeatedly some recurring text … and we use a lot of them.
For example, Typedesk helps me when I set some new vote on another product. There is always the same title, Description. I enter the quick response text like “votetitle” or “votedesc” and the app ask me the variable and fills the field for me.
It’s awesome.
Now, I use it daily for all my projects. I set some emails templates and many other stuff.
Michel and his team are kind and involved in their product.

Support has been great so far. Bugged Michel twice and both times got an answer the same day. UX is great (something I value a lot). It's on par with other Tier 1 apps like Trint, which is what I look for in apps. Happy and looking forward to their mobile apps coming out later.
