I am not a natural salesperson. For 15 years I worked as a Creative for Apple, I trained people, I didn't sell to them. I can talk to people, and explain things in an easy-to-understand way, I just don't feel right selling myself or a product, it just isn't me. I have had a side hustle in the videography business for 15 years. It never amounted to much because I wasn't game to take the plunge and sell my services to the wider public. It was more of a professional hobby. I have now left Apple and I am putting everything into making the videography business work. I have the technical skills and now with SellMe This Pen, I am improving my cold calling and sales skills. This is an extremely intelligent app. I watched the onboarding/explainer video at the start and wanted to dive right in. I was surprised at how lifelike the call was, and how the responses were smart and relevant. It was like I was speaking to an actual person. The voice wasn't 100% human but close enough. On my first attempt, I went in cold just to try it, which resulted in the AI shutting down the call quickly. I didn't know what to say. I am so glad this wasn't a real business call, I was terrible and nervous. SellMe This Pen even at this early stage seems to be a perfect purchase for me. It will build my confidence when cold calling and also when closing a deal. Both are areas that I know I am bad at and need to improve. The only thing I would like to have seen is feedback giving examples of how I could improve, explaining a bit more about why that wasn't good, and trying this next time. If it's in there, I haven't found it yet although I am just starting. Amazing app. Thank you.
