I technically have a tech stack that can do all the things that Notch is designed for. However this experience is alot more pleasant and smooth. This document generator is what Notion pretends to be but is specific and focused.
The Good
-Low learning curve for both myself and my clients
-Loaded with elements like type heading type, 1 click team member bios, tasks, timelines, offers, tables, signatures.....file and video embeddings. This is absolutely feature packed.
-Some branding elements
-Client chat feature with tagging
-Audit trail including interactions with insights (such as time in document)
Opportunities
-Full branding control and the ability to manage multiple brands from one account. I run multiple small businesses and have little need for larger user headcounts. I would rather be able to distribute under multiple brands.
-Templates are ok but I would love to see template blocks. This would allow me to quickly create customized specific agreements with preset blocks where I only have to update the variable
-Speaking of variables--they don't exist as far as I can tell. That should be a relatively easy addition where I should be able to easily add a client contact with some information and it automatically maps to the client data
-Lightweight CRM for clients. This would make the variables function a reality. CRM can literally just be Business Name, Authorized Signer/Rep, Email, Phone and address.
Overall I questioned if I should keep this tool as I don't really need it.....but I'm keeping it.
Its so fluid and intuitive to use that it feels like punishment to use my other existing tool set. Great job so far!
