Firstly, if you're looking to buy this make sure that you like it as is. There is almost no development taking place. To avoid getting ranty about my disappointment I'll just do a pro-con list.

Pros:
- Affordable long term
- site speeds are decent
- Nice to have Stripe direct integration rather then a proprietary payment system
- reseller marketplace can be useful to some

Cons:
- no email notifications when you receive an order
- order page is an absolute mess, only use LC if you're doing a POD store and never need to see order page
- they added Zapier integration, but it's mostly worthless 7 months later as you can't sync products, can only do newsletter sign ups and orders. That's it, nothing else for a whole ecom platform
- if you deactivate your store, you lose your appsumo credits for some reason.
- ZERO UI improvements in a year despite so many asking for them.
- can't reorganize variants
- Mostly only useful for POD sites. You'll just frustrate yourself trying to do anything else.
