Let me start by noting that I have been a happy Upviral user over the past year. I've created 4 successful campaigns for my friends' companies using their tool., but I couldn’t get my viral marketing agency plan off the ground, and Upviral's $2,000 annual subscription was too expensive for me. I canceled it.

Then Kickofflabs appeared on Appsumo. First, I took a free trial, then moved to tier 2.

I have Brizy Cloud as a landing page builder, and I tested these two; it works like a charm. So my campaign pages will be more beautiful than those I built with Upviral.

Integration with my email marketing tool, Flodesk, works well through Integrately.

These kinds of tools are extremely useful if you are a coach, if you have a course, or if you have a travel company or sell physical products. You can generate tons of leads, get your name out there, and warm up your potential customers, thus shortening their customer journey.

Kickofflabs have been in business for 13 years and according to the founder's LinkedIn page, they generate a revenue of one million annually. If it's true, this is a real gem because you don't see such companies on Appsumo often.

Although I have some hesitations,

1. Why would you go to Appsumo and promote your lifetime deal on your official channels, potentially killing your ARR? I asked this question and received a response, but I can't say that I am fully satisfied.
2. These kinds of tools are very effective at generating reviews and followers on social media. Despite that, Kickofflabs has generated only 2 reviews in 13 years.

I am not saying that I don’t believe what they say. They have also created useful content, so you can check their YouTube channel. He seemed to be a trustworthy guy. As for the tool itself, I have no complaints. This deal is almost too good to be true.
This could be the driving force behind their Appsumo campaign:

When you buy the tool and log in, you'll see that they offer a "done for you" service with 75% off, for $499.
If this is the strategy for the Appsumo campaign and it's possible that this strategy could bring more money into the company in the long run, then all my hesitations are gone. That means you purchase this deal for $300 or $600 and become an agency. You bring in the customers, and they will create the campaigns for you. You are the middleman. This makes sense.

Kickofflabs can be a highly beneficial investment that has the potential to yield quick returns, making it a wise choice for your business.

I have liked it a lot and the support team has been very helpful answering my questions. The only negative for me is that some of the functionalities have not been intuitive to find, but overall I am very happy with the results.

I always take a few days to test a product before giving my review. In this case, it has been a week and I must say, I really like this tool. Extremely user-friendly, the interface is sleek, modern, and easy to navigate. I read another review on this page stating they believed the interface was outdated. I totally disagree. The interface, in my opinion, is constructed in a way that makes things as easy as possible for the user to accomplish his/her goals. It's minimalistic. No distractions. Just as it should be. I've been designing UIs for more than 14 years and I wouldn't have done it any differently. Good job UI team. Keep it simple.

However, what I am impressed with most is the support. Twice I have contacted support because I had questions about a few things and within minutes I received a response AND MOST IMPORTANT a solution.

If you are thinking about a tool to help you launch a business, referral programs, contests, lead generation, and more... this is a tool to consider. I highly recommend it!

BTW... I've also tried out KingSumo and as much as I love AppSumo (take a look at how many deals I have purchased over the years)... I must say I prefer Kickofflabs for a variety of reasons. To put it simply... it's just a better tool all the way around with a dedicated support team that's kicking a** when it comes to taking care of their users. Keep up the good work Team Kickofflabs. You've got a customer for life here.

I've been testing the software for days now, and it's highly customizable and effective. The customer support is attentive and precise with their responses. We have multiple templates for campaign creation. If you're into personalizing your brand, you can do so in Tier 3 and Tier 4. Just one thing I'd like to see in the future is a cleaner and more intuitive interface, like KingSumo, as its simplicity enhances the learning curve. Apart from that, it's a 5-star experience all around!

Okay, Kickofflabs has the features, but that interface? It's giving me serious early 2000s vibes. Not a deal-breaker if you don't mind that, but my $49 Kingsumo deal does the same stuff. The AI was kinda 'meh' – saves a bit of time over GPT-4, but not enough to make me switch.

I picked up KickOffLabs a couple of hours ago and have been looking under the hood.

The UI isn't super flashy, and some aspects of the layout weren't immediately intuitive as I went back and forth; some items had a 'save' at the bottom or appeared to autosave, until you noticed another button at the top. It also wasn't immediately clear how to get back to the main dashboard once I was in 'Campaigns; in case you're wondering, you have to start a new campaign. Minor details. I'm just letting you know in case it saves you a bit of time.

Once I had familiarised myself, and watched the onboarding video, it was plain sailing.

I would say this one looks and feels like a solid product and I'm sure you can create campaigns within minutes once you get used to the layout.

Also, I changed the title and clicked the newly found 'saved' button and it didn't work, so just to note, I think you have to publish the page again to see the changes, which with hindsight is a good thing because I didn't notice I had 2 windows open and at one point saved the old version before I realised. The need to re-publish meant I didn't over right the updated version.

I've checked out a few of the templates and there's definitely lots of possiblity and options in terms of how you build and configure your space.

I think this is one of those products where there is always going to be more functionality to explore, and more that it can do if you have the technical skill and really want to customise it.

Reading through the comment threads, KickOffLabs have been around for the past 12 years, so this should be a keeper and provide value for years to come.

I'm just starting to use the product but I can say that the support team is responsive and helpful. Great UI so far and I'm looking forward to seeing if I can increase my reach. Perhaps including some other interactive things like quizzes and games to engage customers may be a good addition?
