I read the other reviews but still wanted to give Flatlogic a try. I ran through the devleopment side and noticed some of the same things as others:
* It creates apps based on a pretty standardized template (that's fine by me)
* The AI doesn't fully capture your input when developing the schemas ('eh, I can edit it manually as needed)
The most concerning part to me as I'm trying to test out the system-- when you try to either connect to GitHub or download the code, it says "ATTENTION: Once you download the project or link it to GitHub, you will no longer be eligible for a refund through AppSumo."
Let me just say here, AppSumo needs to clarify if this is even true. I don't think Flatlogic can technically even do this under AppSumo's terms-- I have 60 days for a refund after testing/using the software, not 60 days for a refund if I don't use key elements of the app. What if it just crashes when I attempt to download, or can't export to GitHub? The fact that i've tried invalidates my refund-ability? I doubt it, but more importantly I don't want to deal with trying to force a refund if they get sassy.
As far as being a potential user goes-- to me, it's a big red flag that they don't want users seeing the code they're creating and/or comparing it variations in actual dev tools while they can still back out. It leads me to believe the generated code is either ENTIRELY template based, or of such low quality that anyone seeing it would want a refund (so they "make" you forfeit it before you do so).
I'd like to hear from AppSumo before I refund, I still see potential in the tool, but the customer service side is not great in my experience so far.
