I have read a couple of reviews here. I'm frankly a little disappointed but respect the views of fellow Sumolings. The bottom line is that this product is amazing. Max_Conduit, keep up the great work and take the feedback, but understand that you are on to something here and the product as it is conceptually amazing.
It has a few shortcomings, but for a new platform, it is beyond the MVP stage and I can only hope that the team at Conduit.ai keep going. It can be a great platform if they fulfill the promise it holds.
That said, if you haven't purchase this, here are a few things you should know:
1) You will be surprised at it not doing what you thought it can, but you will be more surprised by what you can do with it once (and this is key) you grasp the concept of how it is supposed to work.
2) You must know a little bit about data-blending. If you work in this business, you will quickly understand after playing around in the UX for a bit.
3) It is lacking in the onboarding process, meaning there isn't alot out there as to how to best utilize it's strengths. But again, at this moment, if you are in the business of blending data, then you are in for a treat. I'm sure the onboarding and tutorials are coming, but frankly, I hope that they just keep developing the product. It's simple enough to pick up for fellow data blenders.
4) If you are not in the business of data blending, then you will find that there is no do-it-for-you here. We are in the age of AI and automation so it's understandable to default to the expectation. But this isn't a simple plug and play... well it is, but you need to know where to plug and how to play the bigger game.
4b) However, if you are wishing to get into data-blending, do a little (and I do mean a little) foundational read up and you will understand what's going on in the platform.
5) There are simple workarounds for the shortcomings if you are creative, but the things that should be already be in there and are not are being worked on based on the questions and replies from Max I am reading.
6) There seems to be some confusion based on the Tiers and the "history" available, at least on my end. It seems that you can only access 90 days of data at any given point in time. So I am, perhaps like you will be, confused about why that is, but again, there is a workaround for that currently. Max, if you can shed some light on that, please do. I read maybe this issue would be resolved in May? Is that still on track?
Look, I don't typically write reviews, but after reading some reviews here, I wanted to submit my feedback. I see what Conduit is, what they are trying to do, and where it's going. This is a flexible platform which requires a learning curve, and that is exactly what would be need to be for a good data blending and reporting platform.
Bottom Line: This product takes the labor out of generating useful data from multiple platforms that simply do not like to work well together with the same data they collect. I've manually built solutions myself using Google Sheets, but I've never seen anything like this. The over-arching solution here is so smart! Great job.
Hope this helps you make a decision, but I highly recommend it with the condition that the team at Conduit intend on fulfilling the vision. Thank you Conduit, you have my support and a Tier 3 customer.
