Dear Bot9 Team,
I recently purchased and tested your chatbot, Bot9, and I wanted to share my thoughts as a French user. First off, I must commend the ease of configuration and setup – it's impressively straightforward and user-friendly. This aspect alone made me quite satisfied with my purchase.
However, there's a significant barrier preventing me from fully utilizing this excellent tool within the French market. The widget interface of the chatbot includes English phrases that unfortunately render it unusable for my French-speaking clients. This language barrier has led to confusion and a diminished user experience for those who wish to interact with the chatbot. For instance, I've noticed specific phrases that cannot be translated or altered:
The header text "replies instantly...".
The input field placeholder "Write a reply...".
The pre-chat message "Previous Conversations".
The loading message "Thinking...".
The button label "start new chat".
Given the international potential of Bot9, adding a feature to customize these phrases in the chat widget's configuration settings would be incredibly beneficial. Such a feature would undoubtedly enhance the chatbot's versatility and accessibility, making it a valuable tool for users worldwide, especially in non-English speaking countries like France.
I understand the software's primary language is English, which generally doesn't pose an issue for me. However, the English phrases in the chat widget's interface create a significant barrier to my French-speaking clientele. This limitation has rendered my purchase unusable as long as these phrases remain untranslatable.
I kindly ask if your team could consider adding an option to customize these specific English phrases within the chat widget's configuration panel. Alternatively, if there's another solution or workaround you could suggest, I'd greatly appreciate your guidance. Such an update would not only resolve my current predicament but also broaden Bot9's applicability for French-speaking users and beyond.
Thank you for considering my feedback and request. I'm genuinely excited about the potential of Bot9 in the French market and am eager to see how it can be adapted to meet the needs of a diverse user base. I look forward to your response and am hopeful for a positive outcome.
Best regards,
