I strongly advise exercising caution.

Every feature that was initially promised has gradually been transitioned into a paid add-on, which feels like a deliberate bait-and-switch tactic. It seems AppMySite has shifted its strategy, introducing more locked features and failing to honor their commitment to grandfather existing plans. This lack of transparency and deviation from their original promise has left me with a product that falls short of the expectations set at the time of purchase.

If you’re considering investing in AppMySite, I strongly advise exercising caution. Until they address these issues and uphold their commitments, potential buyers should carefully weigh their options and consider alternative solutions.

Support is bad

I have subscribed to paid account. Designed an app but it’s getting back to draft whenever I try to build an image. I tried contacting support via chat and also sent an email but no reply. I will wait for another day and may have to find an alternative.

Not any different from any other web to app

As i have a charity site which i dont make money of and didnt want to spend to much i tried appmysite to see if this could create an app for my wordpress site. Yes it can, but it isnt any different from any other web to app plugin. So if this the only thing you need, there are better and cheaper solution. My review isnt for other functionalities of this software.

And what made me initiate a refund and the 2 taco's is the banner on top of the app saying app made by appmysite which only isnt visible in higher tiers. I get that you would do something like this when using a free version of software, but you shouldnt let paying customers pay for your marketing, even if its just tier 1. You just dont do that

Unexpected Changes

When I bought Tier 2, it had so many features and promised updates/upgrades.
There weren't codes up to 10. I think Appmysite is a bit sneaky and opened up more codes, not living up to their promise to grandfather their plans. I won't be surprised that more codes will be opened up after 10 to accommodate new features.

Complex and costly

The knowledge base could be made a bit easier to navigate, and at the moment, only two instructional videos are available. The information provided is also quite dense, which can feel overwhelming. Building a custom app from scratch here requires advanced coding skills, so this platform may be a better fit for those with an existing e-commerce website who only need minor adjustments. For service-based businesses, it might be a bit more challenging to get started.

Many features needed to create an app come with additional costs. While some may say these add-ons aren’t essential, certain integrations, like Google Analytics, are behind paywalls, which can feel limiting.

Publishing an app is also more complex than expected. After purchasing the deal, I spent a couple of hours trying to make sense of it, but felt stuck. There is a one-click publish option available, but it’s an extra cost, which may be the easiest route.

The plan details could be clearer. While the Pro plan is included, the explanation is brief and easy to miss, and details about add-ons aren’t fully transparent, so clearer information upfront would help avoid confusion.

Overall, for app-building, this platform may be on the complex and costly side, with expenses potentially adding up quickly—especially if you want features like analytics or in-app purchases. I’ve rated it 2 stars instead of 1 because I haven’t tested it for an e-commerce store, and my experience is based on trying to get familiar with the platform itself.

Terrible Buggy Product, Scammy and Greedy Team

I rarely leave reviews, but I’m genuinely disappointed by my experience with AppMySite’s approach. As an early adopter in 2023, I purchased their AppSumo deal, expecting access to all essential features that were clearly advertised—like in-app purchases, app store publishing, and push notifications. These were explicitly mentioned as part of the deal, and I even received written confirmation. Now, these core features are locked behind additional fees—$29/month for in-app purchases, plus extra costs for push notifications and app store publishing.

When I raised these concerns, AppMySite replied with a general statement about "reserving the right to adjust offerings." While I understand the need for adjustments, this seems to go beyond minor changes and instead removes key advertised features entirely. In most cases, retroactively changing the terms of a purchase in this way can be considered misleading or even a breach of consumer trust.

The reality is that the AppSumo deal provides access only to their PRO plan, which lacks several essential features, leaving the product limited unless you pay for further upgrades. This was not clear upfront, and these add-ons make the app far more costly than expected.

AppMySite’s approach has left me with a product that doesn’t meet the expectations set at purchase. Until these issues are resolved, I’d recommend caution to potential buyers.

Great App - Terrible Customer Loyalty

I bought the highest plan and there they recently removed support for all App Sumo customers. Lifetime is no longer "Lifetime". I am not using this product any longer. I will be asking for my money back.

$999.00 per month – Post Agreement Changes

I am writing this review to address concerning changes in the terms of service for your previously offered Tier 5 plan, which I purchased on March 28, 2021.

At the time of purchase, the Tier 5 plan (i.e., the maximum offered plan) included both the "Unlimited" Agency Whitelabel and “Team Member” features, but I’ve since discovered changes in the AppMySite platform.

Upon further investigation, I noticed a discrepancy in the license information displayed across different sections of your platform. Specifically: Under the License dropdown tab at https://app.appmysite.com/agency/create, it states: "Appsumo Tier 5 0/0 used," when it should show: "Appsumo Tier 5 Unlimited." However, at https://app.appmysite.com/app/create, it correctly shows: "Appsumo Tier 5 Unlimited."

Also, when I logged and visited the Agency Dashboard, it says: "Subscription: You're on the “free plan.” Please upgrade to access advanced features. Plan: Agency Free." This inconsistency raised concerns about the accurate representation of my account status and associated features.

The discrepancy between these two (Agency and App) suggests a potential issue with how my Tier 5 subscription is recognized within your platform - AppMySite. This modification to our agreement is unacceptable. You are now charging users an additional $999 per month for this feature (as evidenced by https://www.appmysite.com/agency-white-label-pricing/), which is a HUGE cost, especially when I've already paid for the unlimited features package when you first offered it on Appsumo.

I want to emphasize that the "Unlimited" Agency Whitelabel and Team Member features were the primary reason for my Tier 5 purchase, and this alteration significantly impacts the value proposition of my investment.

Appsumo has allowed you – AppMySite - to change its original offer (as evidenced by https://appsumo.com/products/appmysite-v1-0/), now a 404 page, to (as evidenced by https://appsumo.com/products/appmysite/). This routine behavior creates the impression to members/users of the Appsumo community that this is just another fundraising opportunity, and maybe these new offered terms are subject to change... after purchased.

Nonetheless, I’m requesting that you investigate this discrepancy and ensure that my account status is correctly displayed across all sections of your platform. This step would be essential in resolving the concerns I've raised about maintaining the original terms of my subscription. In doing so, it would also demonstrate that you will honor the original terms of the agreement, which I relied upon when making my purchasing decision, and that you (AppMySite) have benefitted from and used to grow your SaaS business.

If not, I would expect Appsumo to make good on its promise. Recently, it has come to my attention that Appsumo, the platform through which many customers purchase your SaaS, has communicated – via email – to its community that such practices of changing terms post-purchase will not be tolerated. They have indicated they may take measures, including legal action, to protect users from what they perceive as abusive practices by SaaS developers.

This situation reflects a broader issue that has persisted on the Appsumo platform for some time. It is crucial for both AppMySite and Appsumo to adhere to their promises and maintain the trust of their user base. I believe the community would appreciate hearing from both parties regarding this matter.

If this situation is not rectified promptly, I will be forced to take actions outside of the Appsumo community because this issue has to be addressed to protect my interests. I look forward to your timely response and a satisfactory resolution to this issue.

I will be checking for a quick response in this matter.

Best regards,

Another Appsumo user who has spent thousands of dollars on the "trusted" Appsumo platform.

Surprisingly simple

I was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was to "appify" my WordPress site.

Does it do everything I want? No, but it does generate a surprisingly professional mobile application that accomplishes most of what I was looking for.

I wish there were better instructions on graphics sizing. Identifying the correct sizes for splash and home screens is difficult. I spent days resizing and still the image left a gap in the lower screen.

Oddly, generating the app is the easy part, then you have to publish it.

They do give you everything you need to get to that part.

Worst Experience

The plugin won't connect with any of my websites, and I keep encountering errors. Support claims there's a plugin conflict, but these are new sites with only Elementor installed. I even turned off Elementor, but still no success.

Additionally, the troubleshooting feature within the app is ineffective.

This process should have been seamless and straightforward, but instead, it's been incredibly frustrating. It feels like there’s a lot of work needed to refine the plugin and app for a smoother experience. I was excited to try it, but it turned out to be a waste of money.

They haven’t been able to make a translation for 2 years, the app has been slow for 2 years

I started developing the mysite application a long time ago, and it remained slow and sluggish. Updates come slowly, support responds very slowly and every time they try to close the ticket after a wait... Nothing is resolved and at the same time they close the tickets...

I have asked many times to make a normal translation of buttons and texts, even when using the addon it does not work. The words are not translated, don’t ask me to send screenshots or write more specifically, I already did everything in the ticket, attached screenshots, the support service recorded the problem and still... still wait a year for something to happen. The feeling that you have 1 person working for 2 hours a week... well, just add a translation of a couple of words, just that.... or give us the opportunity to translate the words of buttons and labels ourselves.... The worst builder, in two years they create applications that It's a shame to show it to anyone... let alone sell it...
