Acumbamail reviews

Based on other reviews and complaints, it seems I am not the only one who has been blocked before even having the chance to create an email campaign. It appears this is a recurring issue with their service even for those who just purchased the product, which does not instill much confidence. While support did resolve the issue, they could not explain what specific criteria they use to block new users and how to prevent it. I also don't like that they insist on using Spanish in parts of their communication and site design which doesn't always translate properly to English.

Considering these issues and the alarmingly high number of complaints being reported by reviewers over the last year, I don’t know whether I can truly rely on this tool.

Hay otras muchas herramientas mejor que esta.

I have had the worst experience with this company. I purchased this some time ago, so I am unable to get a refund, unfortunately. As a smaller business, we used this for our newsletter. It appeared to be okay until we started to send out emails. Most of them bounced, so it was not very productive. Our account was hacked and a big load of spam was sent out. This is where it got very frustrating. They closed our account and would not assist in anything after that, saying we breached the rules. It was very, very obvious that we were hacked. So much for the security on their site. Support is almost non-existent. We just couldn't get anywhere with these guys. My recommendation is to stay away from this product.

We tried to send a client's campaigns (mostly announcements to their own customer base) to around 300 adresses, and on every single try the emails didn't go through Gmail. Not even on the spam folder. Tried contacting support, who asked to retry a few times, check the list, etc. DKIM and DMARC were all setup, yet the emails didn't arrive on Gmail inboxes. So far, no solution from support.
Sending the campaign to gmail test addresses worked, and sending it to a list of 5 gmail adresses worked too. But trying to send it to around 100 adresses, they all bounce, but you wouldn't know from their reports which almost always claimed 100% delivered and almost no opens.
So we had to send the emails manually straight from Gmail. Our usual transactional email provider works like a charm sending from the same domain, so we know it's an issue related to Acumbamails servers (possibly blacklisted as others pointed out).

We had high hopes for the agency features and unlimited subaccounts, but it is useless to us and our clients if the largest email provider isn't reachable through this platform.

Being using Acumbamail for several months and the service simply doesn't work as it should. List management is fine, mail editing is ok and campaign sending options are decent, but the service simply doesn't work.

Most of the times the emails don't go through gmail and hotmail inboxes, which account for 95% of my email database. Sometimes they go to spam, but most of the times they are completely banned, not even in spam. I did clean my mailing list, I did a lot of optimization. I even get a 99% delivery success in other platforms, then Acumbamail returns the same 99% delivery success, but then only independent email addresses list the mail as open. Not a single mail arrives to GMail and Hotmail inboxes.

I am happy with acumbamail overall so I upgraded my account. I also love that I can use the SMTP feature with Plutio, Acadl and wordpress.

I have purchased it thinking sms and emails included in it but no infact this is a spanish or mexican app that we have to convert the website into english. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn' t.

Terrible software and waste of money, my worst investment on a software which doesn't work and doesn't send emails.

Don't buy or don't invest and don't use this software for your marketing purposes.

They are not open to improve and repair and fix their software.

Waste, Waste & Waste of MONEY!

Stupid team they don't even respond and try to help and give vague answers instead of finding the problem with the emails why they are not being delivered... and Waste software.

The tool looked very promising. Now for some reason my account is blocked and I can't continue editing my template. Support is not available on a Monday morning, promising company. Stay away from this TOOL.

Urgent: Issues with SPF records and email deliverability

I am writing to follow up on my previous requests regarding SPF records and email deliverability issues. Despite verifying my domain and emails, I have sent over 2000 emails that have not reached my audience. I have been informed by Google Support that SPF records are required for email deliverability.

I am requesting:

1. Please provide me with the IP rating and IP address (or server name) to update my SPF records.
2. Please clarify why your team believes that SPF records are not required.
3. Please help me resolve email deliverability issues.

I am expecting an urgent response as my email campaign is time sensitive. If I do not receive a satisfactory response, I will explore alternative email marketing solutions on AppSumo.

I've been trying to use the tool an can't. Never worked properly and now when I try to access the tool, I'm told that my account has been disabled. They basically stole my money didn't give me access. I emailed customer support three times now (with another attempt today) and never heard back from them.

I bought Acumbamail Tier 5. I uploaded my email database and started using it without any problems, until I used a feature to resend an email to those who didn't open it initially. From then on, everything changed. Now the campaigns I send don't reach my recipients. Out of 100,000 emails sent, only 20 arrive. I asked for support help, but they did not resolve my issue. It is very clear to me that everything changed after using the resend function for emails that didn't open the first mail, but they make excuses saying it's my list, that I need to clean it up, and they refuse to review my account. For this reason, I do not recommend this software. It's useless. In fact, it makes me think that they have deliberately limited my account since I no longer have access to the two-month warranty (I bought it in February). I would like to know if anyone else has experienced the same thing.
