Website protection made easy
Overall, I am very satisfied with the program purchased here, which includes virus and malware protection as well as a firewall. It replaces various smaller WordPress plugins, such as hiding the admin area or preventing brute-force attacks. There is even an IP block list. All in all, it is a very well-thought-out program.
Extensive tests are conducted. Often, very good suggestions are made to make the WordPress site more secure. Many of these suggestions can be implemented automatically. If automation is not possible, there are many useful tips and hints on how to apply the security measures manually. Further reading is also recommended.
If you manage many websites, there is a module that can be linked to a second software solution. This module is certainly good and helpful. However, the second program is very extensive and powerful. It is supposed to fulfill many different tasks. For me, this program was too extensive and powerful to manage my sites quickly and effectively.
I do not necessarily see this as a downside, as the developer saved a lot of work by using an established solution.
I had used WordPress sites for many years until a few months ago when I was severely hacked. I had no idea how bad it could be. I spent hundreds of dollars contracting my web host techs to un-do the hacking, but in the end, I had to start over from scratch because I no longer trusted the website, whether it was "fixed" or not.
From the warnings on the plugin, I know that all green lights do not guarantee not being hacked, but after reading all the explanations at every checkpoint, I feel better knowing the risks involved with the items I could not or chose not to pursue.
The firewall is a fantastic value in itself, and the IP block list is something I genuinely appreciate, given my past experiences.
It's an excellent plugin and a tremendous learning experience in cybersecurity and WordPress internals without burying me under the minutiae (which I did not want to happen). I am so glad I got this plugin.
The plugin is fairly straight forward to navigate and fine tune and i am impressed with the results as i have used different plugins including honeypots and other brute force attacks so i would highly reccommend this product for its layout and guide to help resolve many over looked flaws in a wordpress site .
Well done people !! guys and girls for this needed plugin .
Look forward to new and inovative extras all the best Paul.
After I missed this app when it was initially offered, I finally bought it when there was a last call moment. I bought Tier 4, of course because I needed to replace the security plugin on hundreds of our clients.
In terms of convenience, this plugin is very good. Support is also okay, responsive. There are only a few shortcomings in my opinion from the agency business side. This is certainly a bit annoying. First, my company handles several clients and has several employees for that. So when there is a new client, we assign a technical officer to do the installation. And if they hold the same license, it is possible that they will use it for another party or sell it elsewhere. Of course I can deactivate it through the dashboard, but imagine if the same serial number is installed on hundreds of websites that are not our clients, and will continue to grow due to information leaks, this is dangerous.
Maybe a suggestion, like the WPVivid backup plugin that I also hold the Agency license for. They generate a new license number every time we need to install it on a client. One number for one website. And it will be locked in pairs with the domain after installation. So one license number cannot be used for more than one installation.
Overall, I am quite satisfied with WP Security Ninja and hope that in the future new features can be added that are useful for ensuring the security of our website.
It's as simple as that. I installed this on a site with active malware and ran the malware scan, but it didn't detect it. This is probably not what you want to see in a WordPress Security product.
I bought the 20 site tier some time back and I'm glad you guys came back I upgraded to the unlimited anyone wondering theres your answer, yes these guys are good and will forever have my support , great product well recommended

2FA, security checks and scans, white label agency, and mainwp integration? Great product! Support seems to be prompt as well. Hoping for the best and great future for wp security ninja!
Although I ran into an issue with the White Label feature at the beginning, I was impressed with the product and features and decided to stick it out. Thankfully, support was able to resolve the issue and everything is in working order now.
I've used WordFence (Paid & Free) on client's websites now for many years and although I have not fully commited to moving client's to WP Security Ninja yet, I am hopefully as my testing continues, this will be a viable possibility.
Shoutout to Lars for assisting me, determining the issue and implementing a fix. Good stuff...
I love that they have integration with mainWP.
Support is great, after they explained very nicely what I did wrong.
It's definately a work in progress.
I am rooting for WP Security Ninja to compete with the big boys.
I love all the options to secure your site. I however think its difficult to secure your site because I'm new to wordpress and hosting. I hope for videos on exactly what to do, other than that thank you for this plugin, I think its great.
You never know how good a security suite will be until it saves you from a security issue or you have to find a way to deal with it.
That said, like other reviewers, I was disappointed to find out that the software I purchased is hobbled in that there is no central dashboard except for a separate paid plugin to tie WP Security Ninja to MainWP.
So if you use a different site management tool than MainWP, you're SOL.
Well good thing I use MainWP. So I follow the directions to install the plugin and WHOA, what, I have to pay for it??? The only time I figured out that it was a separately paid plugin was AFTER I installed it on my MainWP site and on my satellite site. What a waste of time! Just state in your deal terms: "This deal DO NOT INCLUDE any way to monitor or control your security from a central location. (and you will have to log into every site to run it or see the results.) (yes you can get email reports on failure - that doesn't count).
Apparently, they've released some free features in that plugin but we'll have to see when they revoke them - apparently after they are done building it.
Other than that, it's actually quite pleasant to work with. It caught some minor things that other software missed. Bravo.
