Re-purpose your videos into marketing content

It worked well enough - a little clunky- until it was past the refund time. And now it won't create the clips for videos- just error code after error code. I've reported the issue and nothing - super disappointed.

I am not happy with this software because it does not have LAYOUTS or TEMPLATES that one can use to edit or repurpose a video

If they add LAYOUTS or TEMPLATES, I will consider it a 4.8

When I purchased VideoTap, I used it to generate a few things and found the process was pretty intuitive and the clip-making and blog snippets actually decent.

But then my videos stopped processing, and the support seems non-existent. I can see others having the same issues ongoing across the support section of the website, and I've raised via Discord and now email. I am concerned that support for VideoTap has died as there's no indication of a message or an outage.

Without any form of customer support - Even a token receipt of message would be something. Currently I feel like they've taken my money, given me a few weeks of use and then abandoned the project. And now AppSumo won't allow me to refund to find an alternative, working solution...

I'd happily stay with VideoTap if they'd respond or fix the issues.

I’m in SEO space for 18 years and I tested this product for about 40 days, I bought the highest tier with “priority support”, but Videotap don’t even bother responding lol.
What “priority support” is this??? Is this a joke??? I waited even more than a week for some feedback regarding PLENTY and I mean PLENTY of stupid bugs I encountered on their platform that changes all the time.

Ok so I bought the highest tier with “priority support” and no one is responding here for DAYS, while I’m here like an idiot waiting to be able to use the software cuz now I can’t do anything with it so just asked for the refund.

I have videos in my catalogue for days that are not transformed yet…not to mention that from 700 videos transformed THEY DELETED 600 of them out of nowhere and lost all my content. 👎
Random videos transformed from the past don’t return anything right now.
On the sales page they mentioned that they use OPUS for the highest tier, but after a few weeks the sales closed they changed the provider just like that out of the blue without even asking their clients and no, you are not able to select provider (like you can with perplexity ai for example)
They keep messing up my reset day for replenishing account minutes. For example, right now it should be around 1300 minutes left and next reset day to be 24 August, but instead is 24 September and 1500, so they basically cancelled all my minutes for 24 July to 24 August…and after fixing the bug after a whole week they just gave me ZERO minutes. 🙁
Adding new videos to transform doesn’t work.
Downloading clips doesn’t work.
Search function doesn’t work.
+ plenty of other stupid bugs I don’t even have the time to mention.

Chris doesn’t care about you at all, all he cares about is MONEY; you can see that just by looking at the pricing page with outrageous prices; I bought this only because of the lifetime deal but even like this it was a mistake cuz in the end I wasted a lot more time and energy with zero output.

Idk if I can trust Appsumo anymore after this awful experience if you promote scams like this; I thought I bought something legit here, but I was unable to actually USE WHAT I PAID FOR and wasted my time with a useless tool and unanswered emails & livechat.

Just get Sonet 3.5 from Claude Anthropic (and for getting the transcript of any video https://tactiq.io/tools/youtube-transcript) and transform your videos to blog posts directly like that and for FREE !!!

The clips that Video Tap pulls from my weekly livestream are perfect. It's like it knows me and what soundbites make sense for reels. The video quality could be better in YT imports and it would be extra cool if clips can be published to socials directly from here.

I bought this with intentions of uploading long form to create clips but each time had an error i never could get it to work had to refund sorry

I've been trying several of the clips, content, etc tools that have been floating here on Appsumo. And frankly they were not quite there yet and I had to refund. But, I'm liking what Video Tap is doing. The clips are good coming out, they have the right option for zooming horizontal video or not when converting to Vertical clips for Shorts or Reels.

Blog post are good, and if they need an edit to smooth them out that's ok. Solid tool, worthy of 5 tacos.

I've recently been looking to create highlight reels for all my speaking and was so glad to find this! I got tier 1, processed a video then quickly upgraded to tier 2. Sure, there are some bugs, but I'm hopeful it will continue to evolve. I'm very happy with my deal!

For me overall is okey, but i hope videotap will become like MINVO, coz i like how MINVO have video editor and customization. And also i have this problem; I have error and few time have I been able to generate shorts clips.

But overall its okey for now. And if possible 100 minute for tier 1 is so limited, specially when there is error generatiing clips.

2. The artificial intelligence service has never once worked for me in a month and a half.
3. It is unclear who owns this service there is no information about them in the about section.
4. I hope we weren't fooled and the service will work.
5. Translation from Russian to English does not work either. Your service supports Russian language completely.

I think this can get better, but it's definitely not quite there yet to be used.

Everything is still too manual.

1. Can't automate Tiktok clips and publishing
2. Can't automate blog posting.
3. Can't automate tweeting.
4. Can't auto generate from external channels, have to manually paste the videos daily.
5. No API or Zapier integrations to automate it.
6. Can't process videos longer than 2hr

Have been using it for a month, absolutely love it. Even that it is buggy doesn't matter for me. It is the best long to short video app I have used in years. The roadmap looks amazing too, keep going dev team!
