TidyCal reviews

Now that I've set up Tidycal, I have to say it's a really good tool.
What's annoying me right now, though, is the fact that there are only two options for setting up a payment provider: Stripe and PayPal. Basically, I got along fine with PayPal. Now, because of the current political approach of both companies, I don't want to use either of them anymore.
Would it be possible to integrate a European payment service? The Dutch company Mollie or the Spanish company MONEI would be options here.

A shame, TidyCal branding is present everywere on forms and we cannot erase it.
I do not use this only because of this point.

When compared to Calendly, TidyCal is a no-brainer.

TidyCal does all the stuff you need for the day-to-day alignment across multiple calendars and makes it very easy for people to book with you, paid or otherwise.

Very happy and using this daily now.

Con otros programas no he podido configurar citas a través de zoom, citas para un solo día en un evento especial o una página de reservas atractiva, sencilla y clara que se pudiese ver bien en todos los dispositivos.

Con Tidy Cal, ha sido súper sencillo configurar una cita para UN DÍA EN CONCRETO, configurar las horas disponibles y también los Emails de confirmación. Que además, llegan a mis clientas en español. La página de reservas se ve bien en cualquier dispositivo.

He cancelado mi otra aplicación de reservas (que además pagaba mensualmente).

Loving it so far, I set it up in about an hour, then have hosted back to back 100+ attendee booking calls, 1:1s, small groups, team round robins, and more. Only paid $80 on a deal. Worth way more. Super stoked.

Super easy to use. I moved over from another well known calendar booking system and I set up TidyCal in about 20mins. Professional and the preset reminders are working a treat.

For cost reasons, I moved from Calendly. The product could do with some more development as some aspects of booking aren't quite there yet to be a comparable match. I've used a workaround for now. Not ideal, but it's cheaper and mostly in life, you get what you pay for. As is the case here. Hoping that the product development will improve over time.

I don't know how else to share this feedback to David/others other than to leave a review --- but with this latest issue I had no choice but to abandon the platform because TidyCal didn't do its basic function, otherwise I would have easily rated it 4.5/5 given price, functionality, simplicity, UX ---

Overall -- I'd like to first say, that my issue is not entirely unique but would only be common for expats or foreigners in other time zones serving Americans. Thus, in a situation where someone in the US serving Americans wouldn't have the issue because this tool functions 100% for bookings that are made on the same day, within the time zone.

Where the tool doesn't work:
Because of the way TidyCal is designed, you cannot accurately share your schedule where the host creates availability on a different timezone, where the booker's booking and timezone are on day 1 (Monday), and host's time zone is day 2 (Tuesday).

For example, let's say I'm in England (UTM +0) -- and because I want to service Californians (-7) when it's 6p California time, and 1am England time (In my case, I'm in Jerusalem), I would need to make availability on Monday until 11:45p or maybe 12am, and then on the next day's availability, list myself available until 2am. As well as open availability for later in the day.

TidyCal is incapable of crossing days, meaning when someone goes to book, they will only see Monday's availability, and because they are booking with their time zone selected (Pacific), they won't see availability when it's technically 1am for me.

While I can see why the system might be confused on a technical level... sorry but this issue is too basic and the situation is too common in a world-wide economy, and took up too much of my time dealing with it, to warrant a high rating.

Support made me feel unheard, even though I broke down the issue with several screenshots, on more than 1 occasion, they "rejected" my issue when it was **clear as day**. Time is money and eventually I stopped responding and decided to go elsewhere (Different appsumo deal).

In fact, testing other booking tools, no one else had the issue.

Otherwise, in my opinion, I feel like this issue is too basic, and if in 2025 where the world does business with each other in different time zones, this tool is a no go for expats in far away time zones..

Hey guys, my name is Kevin D. Williams with Team Vision LLC, and I have to say, TidyCal, in my own opinion, let me take these glasses off, outperforms Calendly. You say, "Kevin, how does it outperforms Calendly?" First of all, you pay once and it's a lifetime. Now, that was the game changer for me, but I have the agency plan and it does everything that Calendly would do, except I don't have to make a monthly fee. So uh, I'm gonna give it 10 tacos, and I'm gonna encourage you to use the agency plan, especially if you're a business. That's my story. I'm sticking to it.

I can live with everything... except the TidyCal logo at the bottom of the interface. TidyCal team, the app works wonderfully, if you added a new tear to remove the logo I am sure a lot of us would pay the extra amount. The minute you guys offer that you get 5 tacos from me :)

I really like it! This offers (almost) everything I want from my calendar! The one thing I wish it had (or perhaps I'm simply unsure how to do this) is that I wish it would give the option for a phone call and require the person booking the appointment to type in their number (I don't want it to give the booker my number because it confuses things. I want them to know I'll be calling them, not the other way around.). That's really the only thing that's stopping me from giving 5/5 stars. Otherwise, I love it and will definitely continue using!

Extremely solid booking automation app, with all the bells and whistles you could need. Calendar link, payments, custom emails. Really, it is incredible value. You get a lifetime deal and all the features for the cost of a single month of similar apps. After a few years of use, I haven't found a single limitation.
