Start a newsletter without the usual hassles with SendFox
Love the product, i wanted to go with Mailchimp.. But sendfox is so cheap, well build and used friendly. Setup in 10 minutes and start mailing!
Unfortunately, it doesn't allow you to change the confirmation redirect URL for the double opt-in to a custom thank you page unless you upgrade to their Empire Add-On monthly subscription.
The default thank you page that subscribers see after verifying their email is filled with ads for their other products.
This is disappointing, as they essentially force you to upgrade to the Empire Add-On by imposing this limitation.
The automations are very simple and linear, with no capability to add conditionals.
Additionally, there is no tag system for users, forcing all segmentation to be done via Lists, which becomes inconvenient for complex segmentation needs.
I was hoping to use this tool for my projects, but with these conditions it is basically useless for my needs.
This app is a catastrophe waiting to destroy your domain reputation.
Their automation has no "start" button. If you make even a small mistake, like adding the wrong list, or something goes wrong during testing, your emails go to the full subscriber lists without you having the chance to stop it.
I've been using SendFox recently, and while it offers a straightforward way to manage email campaigns, I found its user interface to be quite clunky and not very intuitive. Navigating through the platform can sometimes feel cumbersome, which slows down workflow. Additionally, the feature set appears somewhat limited compared to other email marketing tools, lacking advanced options that many users might expect. Overall, SendFox may suit those with simple needs, but for more robust campaigns, you might find yourself wishing for more polished UI and richer features.
The platform looks promising at first, but it’s basically useless. My emails constantly sit in “Optimized” status and NEVER get sent. What’s the point of scheduling or drafting campaigns if they just get stuck in limbo forever?
Support is unresponsive or gives copy-paste answers that don’t solve anything. I’ve wasted time, money, and trust on this tool. It’s beyond frustrating and completely unreliable if you're trying to run a serious business.
Avoid SendFox at all costs. There are better platforms out there that actually work.
This service is a disappointment all around. Very rudimentary setup and capabilities and their support team is very unhelpful. They do reply within 24 hours, which is standard, but if you have followup questions, they simply send the same canned reply back from their first interaction. They clearly outsource support to a 3rd party that is following scripts and is not helpful to the consumer. If you want a rudimentary platform that is cheaper than others, could be a good starting point for you. Just don't expect good support.
Send Fox has heaps of potential. Except, they've got no plans to add on features,. I reached out and asked and there are no plans for improving features, I was on Empire. So, if you're thinking of getting Send Fox with the hope that they add features, then don't bother. You either want the limited features and don't need anything else or go with another option.
I bought sendfox in Dec 2024 for project I launched in Feb 2025.
And found it utterly useless.
The UI is clunky and hard to figure out what goes where, this is coming from a life long IT guy.
Some features only work if you do it a specific way.
I gave up on it with my 1st project and only tried it again with a new project and wow 5 mins in I'm red with frustration again.
I'm trying to send a 1st contact email to supplier with publicly listed emails.
The plan with using sendfox for this is I can track if it was read and delivered in one place and use the buildt in landing page function.
It listed my email as "optimized" but all seemed fine. Only once I started digging found out that none of the emails were sent. They are afraid I'm spamming someone... Ok but will that not be a "me" problem. If I'm stupid enough to spam I will damage my own domain record and not affect sendfox...... or is this because they still put their branding on my fully paid software and I need an additional subscription to get rid of it.
I got sold on appsumo and send fox after buying Noah's book Million dollar weekend.
Sadly only thing I got for this is a appsumo add at the start of every youtube video for 5 months. Seems like Appsumo pushes out apps as quick as possible to make a quick buck and does not matter it is works or not.
Hey I guess you can do that with life time licenses, only companies that charge subscriptions have to be concerned with their apps being and staying useful to clients.
What a scam.
This product could be great...but for some reason they did all the hard stuff...and then just stopped. And unfortunately they stopped short of some very important features that are needed so that it could be really usable. The goal of an email is to land in recipients primary inbox. To do this some baseline things are needed, dkim/spf/dmarc. You need to have non spamming content. You need "warm" up a domain by gradually sending emails. Those are all in the users control and possible with this tool.
Whats not possible: the urls being the same as the sending domain. Unfortunately this tool rewrites all links to use the sendfox domain. No workaround. They could have easily have a cname set up for the links to be rewritten to..but they didn't. Could have had an option not to rewrite links...but they didn't. As a result...the deliverability is going to be headed to that promos tab. And that sucks.
There are other little annoying things that could also be adjusted...but the domain rewriting is the big one. I haven't seen any development on this project in a while, was expecting normal monthly updates to fix this issue...but its been years.
Anyways, i hope they fix that issue and when the do this is decent especially for the price. But even if the product is free...sending emails to a scenario where they most likely wont be read because of this issue...sucks.
It is a good product to send basic emails, but if you want analytics such as recipients' demographics, you won't get that.
Me complico mucho la vida con otras herramientas de correo, pero esta fue facil y funciona, estoy planteando pasarme a la función de pago para sacarle el máximo provecho, lo que quiere diecri que me ha funcionado muy bien asi que recomendado
I recently encountered a frustrating issue with my SendFox account (support request #1127044). When I tried to log in, I received a prompt instructing me to email support "Please email support...[at] sendfox...c0m with the subject "SendFox Account Settings".
I first contacted support almost three months ago, and I have still not received any response or assistance. The lack of timely support has left me disappointed and unable to access my account.
Until they improve their customer service, I cannot recommend SendFox.
