Create and sell digital products
Great Platform to use to capture leads, sell products, deliver products etc.
I am a little disappointed with ProductDyno and considering a refund.
I was full of hope for ProductDyno, but after two days of trying, I found that it was not as expected.
At the beginning of the purchase, after logging in, I immediately saw two messages that attracted me to pay for an upgrade. Unlike other software, which helps me familiarize myself with the operation of the entire system, it tries to use marketing tactics to attract me to spend extra money to upgrade. In fact, this feeling is not very good, after all, I just bought tier 3.
It doesn't matter, I don't mind paying a little more if the software works.
After using it for two days, I found that this software is full of developer thinking, which means that it does not think from the perspective of users. So maybe it's powerful, but it still took me a while to figure it out.
At first, I was trying to build a product and then wanted to see if I could sell it online? After setting up PayPal, I started building the product page and got stuck starting with setting up the domain name. I found that the sales logic was different from what I imagined, so it took me a while to understand.
After setting it up with great difficulty, I found that the external file storage can only be stored in Amazon S3, instead of other third-party services. I feel that the support flexibility is very limited. The user interface is also an engineer's thinking, and it is not a good user experience at all.
This may be my own biased thinking, but I always feel a little pity. I am so looking forward to using ProductDyno to start my own online courses and business.
There are some really nice aspects of product dyno. Being able to structure courses as you want them is nr 1, which is so often missing, being forced to follow templates.
But the dissappointment is in the deal. I was told that this was not for my clients and thier courses, but only for courses I had made. Which is a big frustration for me, so this stays on the shelf gathering dust. I wish that this had been much clearer to me beforehand.
If you use wordpress and you want to make a combination of an event and LMS system with live chat etc. Then you need to install at least ten plugins. That makes your website slow, unsafe and it costs you too much money and effort to learn to use all those plugins.
With ProductDyno you get everything in one system and you can also link it to your wordpress website. If you want to sell online courses or organize an event, you must have this system.
Probably the best product I bought from AppSumo! I already have products from that team, and they are top products!
Thanks a lot!
Excelente producto, compre nivel 3, es espectacular, puedes crear cientos de cursos con su creador de cursos,
Las opciones de creación son infinitas, solo falta tu imaginación.
Recomendado 100 %
I recommend everyone buy ProductDyno. Out of the 300 deals I've bought, it is above average. It offers a lot of features with custom domains, branding, etc. So many great products are included outside of the courses as well. I'm using it only for courses at this point but hopefully someday I will use it for the others.
One improvement is I wish the courses were Wordpress compatible with SSO, quiz detail, course progress, and other data flowing over. The SSO is the most important.
I run the largest online learning platform for clinical research in the middle east including +15000 individuals.
I have tried
- Podia
- Learnyst
- Graphy
- Uteach.io (back up of my current)
- onlinecoursehost (my current)
- Sensily
- Moodle
ProductDyno is superpowerful and I see a big window for improvement in it. It looks so professional. I can create several products with several custom links.
It has so many options to the extent that creating a course is time consuming.
Disadvantage: quiz options is limited and absence of assignment submission function (the only reason why I use onlinecoursehost but not any others)
I hope the developers of ProductDyno add the assignment submissions to their roadmap ASAP. I want to switch all my courses to ProductDyno.

ProductDyno asked to leave a first impression, so here goes.
Modern interface, focused on selling. The technical setup menu is a bit hidden. Still getting to know the layout.
I think it has much possibilities and potential, so it's worth more exploration - in my case setting up a first course.
I received a 'buy-this-now' email promotion for an unrelated product from PromoteLabs, which said I was on their list because I registered for PD. I think it is their mother company. I do not welcome this kind of cross-promoting, so four stars at this point.
I recently bought it and I happy I finally went for it and also took Tier 3. I have not launched any products yet but every time I log in I get a butterfly feeling in my stomach, because I just find something new and so good about it. I feel a love story brewing between me and ProductDyno.
It also got a lot of support texts and videos. Sometimes I still have a hard time to understand the supports answers but that mainly because English is not my native language and I’m not familiar with some of the “tech-vocabulary”. So I write back to see if I understood correctly and hope I dont look like a total fool for needing more clarification.on things that's simple in the end.
I can't wait to have the ability to use ProductDynos full potential. It’s just so good I, in all honesty, don’t want to recommend anyone to use it because I feel ahead of the competition when I have it and not them ;)
After trying many course creation platforms, this one made me again be willing to create online courses. It is simple and powerful at the same time. It can be noticed that the company behind the product does not only know what is doing, but also it feels compromised with the product. It can be noticed in the many details that this app has. Many integrations. A plug and play system. Well deserved 5 tacos. The best way to know it is to test it for 10 minutes. That is enough to know it.
I have tried teachable, thinkific, Learn Dash, AmemberPro (years old), Digital Suitcase, (something close to that), wordpress member plugins, Optimize press and so on. I current have thrivecart learn +. This blows them all way as a whole.
1) The big names won't let you multibrand. I'm not greedy, I have two main brands and a couple of sub-brands I want to separate. (we all do). I would need an account for each elsewhere. ProductDyno allows me to have all 4 on their own domains. So I can use wordpress (which is still the best front end) for each domain and put PD at subdomain.Domain.com. Job done. All brands sorted. In t3 I can do that 20 times.
2) I think up a product name that does not fit anywhere or I just want it to be featured. OK! Would need a new account elsewhere. Not with PD. login.SpontaneousProductDomain.com ALl in the same account. I can do that unlimited times.
3) The onboarding robot takes you through every page. I think I can train an admin just by having them login. Huge!
4) I integrated Amazon s3 in 10 mins. I can cancel vimeo now. $20/mo.
5) Doesnt have a front end. This is not bad, I can assure you that there are risks to building your whole stacke on someone else's land. I always make the main public content on wordpress and backed up. This way I keep all the link juice and google rank for ever. The tricky part (LMS) productdyno does amazingly. if it ever goes away, I just have to change login.mydomian.com to a new provider. But judging by how good this is I think it will be around.
6) Landing pages would be nice but again see point 5. Hosting is fast these days and wordpress is gotten much better so building ones own landing pages on ones own land is still pref3rable.
7) In integtrates natively with Thriecart. Easily the number one funnel focused cart.
8) Intereates with so many email provides, most will find what they need.
9) Member area templates. I really like this. I have some courses that are multi-media and some are multiple short videos. This allows me to match exactly.
10) WOMBAT - get this. Your community will help you grow.
The only thing I would like is I would like the single product area to function like shopifty or wordpress. I can put all my small products under 20 bucks in there, I have around 200 "scripts" and I can make it like a shopping cart. With discounts for buying. I will still need to use woocommerse for this. But other than that. This is the solution I have been looking for. Try to think of it as Learn+ on steriods! Im sure many will want a site builder and that would make it better than teachable. But I dont need that for reasons stated. ANyway, this is the one for me.
Lastly, check out how responsive Fraz is. That is a great sign of a team leader dedicated to the job. I say get it now.
