The tool itself had a lot of hype and promise, but it's completely under delivered. KW Hero is stuck in a non existent roadmap with very little to no updates. Stuck with outdated LLM and average at best output. The keyword tool is horrible. You have to use VERY common keyword terms for it to come up with anything of substance. The writing tool is way behind the game with little to no formatting. Literally everything is way behind the game and falling further behind everyday.

Lastly, Aleks is arrogant and condescending in his answers and responses. Absolutely horrible customer service which matches the trajectory of the tool itself...going nowhere.

Positive:

- I saw a few tutorials about the tool and would have liked to use it

Negative:
- did some experiments. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be ready for the German market.
For example, "online marketing handwerk" does not produce any results in keyword research. If I enter that into Ranklytics, I get a search volume of 110 and medium competition. If I enter that into KWFinder, I get a search volume of 120 and keyword difficulty of 12.

Keyword hero has made a significant difference to our SEO game. The search function has allowed me to find the perfect blend between search volume and competition to compete on. The blog writer is then amazing. It literally takes 5 minutes to write a SEO blog that is amazing.

Love the UI. Its very intuitive. This will be a killer tool when they get it working reliably. I recommend stacking up just for the potential of it.
For my test, the keyword lookup worked well but then it went south from there. Things started failing when doing content analysis on the keyword list. Out of 34 keywords that I performed content analysis on, all failed but 4. It burned through credits but no analysis on 30 out of 34 keywords. I contacted support through the form and we'll see how that goes.

The user interface is incredibly user-friendly, and all the features work seamlessly. However, the keyword data feels a bit limited. I’m hoping future updates will bring in more country-specific insights and deliver even more accurate keyword suggestions. Looking forward to seeing these improvements!

Negative Aspects

I find this platform to be quite expensive. Firstly, it lacks many functions that other AI writers offer, such as rewriting, expanding text, translating, rephrasing, etc.

Additionally, I have noticed that often out of the 10-15 H2, H3, and H4 titles created in the outlines, 3-5 are usually omitted when generating the final text. This can be frustrating if you are looking for a tool that maintains the coherence and structure of the content.

Another issue is that KWHero’s AI-generated content sometimes fails to capture the right tone and voice for my brand. This inconsistency can be problematic for maintaining a unified brand identity across all content.

Furthermore, the keyword research data provided by KWHero isn’t always up-to-date. I’ve encountered instances where the keyword volume and ranking difficulty metrics were outdated, leading to less effective SEO strategies.

If you are looking for an AI writer, you can find much better options on AppSumo with many more features. For example, WordHero, Junia, WriteSeed, and WriteCream. These alternatives are not only more economical but also offer more functionalities. Additionally, they produce articles that can rank well and allow you to use additional tools like ChatGPT or others like Anthropic.

If you only plan to buy one on AppSumo, I advise choosing any of these options instead of KWHero.

Positive Aspects

On the positive side, KWHero does excel in some areas. The platform provides a comprehensive analysis of long high-performing articles, which is useful for understanding what works in your niche. The ability to discover keywords with data on cost per click, profitability, and ranking difficulty is also beneficial for planning your SEO strategy.

Moreover, KWHero's integration with WordPress makes content publishing straightforward and efficient. The sharing and collaboration features are handy for teams working on SEO projects together.

The NLP optimization feature is another strong point, as it helps ensure that the content meets Google’s latest standards. Plus, the capability to generate content in 80 languages can be a great asset for businesses targeting a global audience.

Simple to use tool, pretty handy for keyword research. It doesn't have updated list of keywords in comparison to Semrush Keyword Magic. Would also be nice if they included a feature to check the Keyword Difficulty for your domain and not overall

Is only conditionally suitable for users in regions other than the United States.
e.g:
The country is automatically changed to the United States every time you visit. It is also not possible to store a default country.
There are almost no suggestions for the tested keywords.
Every small change to the conditions "monthly searches, cost per click, keywords difficulty" costs credits, because this is considered a keyword lookup!
In the Content Creation area, the values for Vol and KD are missing, which are easily determined by other services.
KWhero shows nothing at all for the tested keyword and the competition shows the following. "2400 vol, KD 44-45 and 5.13-6.03 cpc"
Unfortunately, the AI writer generates keyword stuffing and then writes these 45 times in the text instead of only 12-16 times.
The Writer also does not currently create highlighting for individual words or sections of text.
These are also the reasons why I switched back from level 3 to level 1.
I still give 3 points because the rest works well so far, without any major bugs.

While the app seems to work great, the wait times sometimes are confusing especially if you need to refresh yourself. better error handling and showing of errors of the API to openai may have helped here, maybe an idea for the developer to look at. For everything else it seems it does what it needs to do, just wished there where more countries to choose from the list, as not everyone is american and not all websites are worldwide, and certainly not always written in english. But we will wait and hope it will be there sooner than later.

I believe this application is truly a hidden gem and is significantly underpriced for the services it offers. When compared to tools like SEMRUSH and Ahrefs, it's like a bany version of Ahrefs but with a lifetime offer, which represents immense value.

I think there's a problem with their marketing strategy. While the content writing feature requires some improvements, the keyword research capability alone justifies the price. This is especially true when you consider the multi-language support, which sets it apart from competitors like Ahrefs and SEMrush, where similar features cost at least $150 a month.

The keyword research tool itself is worth the investment. When combined with the ai writer, I decided to opt for the tier 3 package and plan to rigorously test its SEO ranking performance. However, I believe this product is undervalued and the marketing approach needs to be revised.

The real strength of this tool lies in its keyword research capabilities. Paired with a powerful and well-crafted writer, it can definitely produce superior results. My hesitation to upgrade from tier 3 to tier 6 hinges on the need to see a roadmap and the introduction of new, critical tools. Enhancements like FAQ sections, rewriting capabilities, and easier ways to incorporate images would be beneficial. Additionally, internal and external linking tools could make this tool more appealing. Hoping to see implementation of Chatgpt 4o mini to replace the current solution too.

Finding a good 3-in-1 solution (KW research, competitor research & analysis + writer) is challenging, and I think Keyword Hero is severely undervalued. I hope they secure enough funding to continue expanding their database and improving the content writer. The team is ambitious and striving to create something exceptional. I wish them all the best.

This AI tool is promising, it creates articles that have a good amount of NLP Keywords. I like the fact that you can adjust the word count. However,
1) the tool cannot rewrite a blog. 2) The tool can not automatically generate FAQs like SEOWriting AI. 3) I wish there is a setting to avoid H4 or H3 before creating outlines. It creates too long outlines with H4 that are not needed.
Other than that, the tool is great.
