The ultimate video screening software for efficient recruitment
We've taken some time to write this review because we were not using it intensely until now.
We liked the team behind the platform so we did bet on them... and it is paying off tenfold.
For one thing, the team is extremely responsive. We haven't had one single inquiry that wasn't replied in few hours if not immediately. You wonder when do they actually sit to code and maintain.
And you know they are hard at work with those 2 because they keep releasing features, improving the platform and listening to their customers.
All in all, we are very satisfied and we can only recommend supporting this team and Hirewire as a platform.
The team have been very responsive to our requests and its a fantastic tool.
We currently have it running a banking video assessment for 100 candidates and it's going really well.
It also worked really well with our clients fire wall and enables them to access the submissions.

Before using Hirevire, we were already conducting interviews by asking candidates to send video responses via WhatsApp. This process required having the phone with us at all times, and it often led to disorganization—videos would get lost or were hard to find later. Now, with Hirevire, the entire process is much smoother and more organized. All responses are centralized on the platform, and the interface is incredibly easy and intuitive to use.
One feature we absolutely love is that candidates have the option to retake their video recordings. This not only gives them more comfort but also results in higher-quality responses. Before, creating a video with all the questions was a tedious process that required some technical know-how. Now, thanks to Hirevire, no technical skills are needed, saving us a lot of time.
Regarding improvements, I’d like to highlight two points:
It would be great to have the option to remove the watermark of your company, as it looks less professional in certain contexts.
The ability to include images outside of an iframe would be very useful. Currently, image sizes vary depending on the screen, and this affects the overall presentation.
What sets Hirevire apart from other SaaS platforms I’ve tried (including those available on AppSumo) is the versatility in response formats. Being able to set up questions that can be answered with video, text, audio, an image, a file, multiple-choice options, or even a single-choice test style is fantastic.
As a suggestion, I’d love for AppSumo users to have the ability to include some questions in video format. I understand the resource challenges of offering this feature long-term, but limiting storage or the number of job postings where it can be used could make it feasible. If this were implemented, Hirevire would undoubtedly become my best AppSumo purchase to date.
Lastly, I want to highlight the custom domain feature, which is an excellent detail. The implementation is straightforward, and the result looks highly professional. I’m truly impressed with Hirevire!

Video and Text Responses: The platform supports both video and text-based answers, providing flexibility for candidates and giving hiring managers a comprehensive view of applicants' capabilities.
While Hirevire is highly efficient, some additional features that would be nice to be added to the platform should included
Advanced analytics or AI-powered insights into candidate performance at every plan level and AI resume review could elevate it even further, also having resume upload be a standard process and not have to be built into every job.
Add WorkMap Assessment- With WorkMap factored into your interviews, you don’t have to think about what questions to ask to evaluate candidates’ skills. For example, for an Accounting and Finance job, WorkMap advocates that candidates have Accountability, Analytical Reasoning, Attention to Detail, Commercial Acumen, Problem Solving, and Interpersonal skills.
Add scheduling integration to Calendly to allow people to schedule Zoom interviews before hiring.

The tool I never knew I needed.. until now! Speeds up the recruitment process, and provides a nice offering to get the recruitment process underway.
As a recruiter with over 20 years of experience, I can confidently say this is one of the best recruitment tools I’ve ever used. It’s incredibly simple, intuitive, and efficient, making it perfect for daily operations. The user-friendly interface allows for seamless navigation, which helps save time and boost productivity. I highly recommend it, especially for small recruitment agencies with up to 5 team members. While I would have preferred the option to include at least two users in the Tier 1 plan, the overall functionality is outstanding. A fantastic investment—highly recommended!

We just wrapped our first full recruitment using Hirevire and it was a game changer. Here's what I learned:
- 1st and foremost, the Hirevire support team is bar none. As we play around with our unique case, there are bound to be some hiccups. We weren't seeing the numbers we hoped for and so I reached out for ideas. BAM. Rapid response with feedback and ideas to try.

- Don't give up if you have to rework somethings. Due to the market we are in, we had to improvise a bit. Instead of requiring everyone to use exclusively Hirevire, we opened up the option of 1:1 zoom interview or Hirevire - and made a disclaimer that those using the platform would be given priority review. Instant uptick in applications!
I CANNOT WAIT to see how Hirevire continues to mature and am confident that this is the key to simplifying our workflow that I have been looking for.

I have a business employing people to train them to work as medical secretaries. So I am employing a lot of people. Hirevire is an amazing tool to get job applicants to record themselves answer some interview questions before I interview them in person. This saves me a lot of time in interviewing people who are not suitable for the role. In video you can see their English and communication skills and how they present on video.
