Nightmare, stay away

An absolute nightmare. It simply doesn't work. Inbox? Doesn't work. Search? Doesn't work. Support responds quickly, but they just say they're working on it or that they can't reproduce the problem. So, tough luck.

A bad purchase, and I advise you to just pay annually for Linkedhelper 2. It is what it is.

I just started using it, and I love it

I love the UI, the tutorial videos are extremely well explained.

This is my first professional lead generation strategy through LinkedIN that I will do, but so far the things I have learned of this tool, are great.

The warm up mode, is just a way to show that this is a really serious and professional tool that understands LinkedIN policies and that was made to provide results forever.

Great tool if you’re located in the USA

Anyways, I bought this a couple of years ago and used it for a couple months until I got locked out of my LI account.

Turns out their local assigned IP is only for the USA and there’s nothing they can do or have done about it for the last almost 1.5 years.

Apparently their devs have been notified and are looking into it. I want to use the tool I paid for. It looks like USA is your priority market and this is something you should tell people upfront.

And if I can’t use the software I might have to ask for a refund.

Very good Linkedin Automation Tool

Honestly, i tried Kanbox before and it was a disaster. With Closely i once set up a campaign and since 1 month its running without any issues. My network is growing every day and i have no issues with bans

I have been using it for a few months. No issues with LinkedIN. Support has always been quick to respond.

They give you an option not to use the recommended "warm" mode. I've always used this mode; it sends a few requests a day, so you don't look like you're using automation.

I recommend it.

Getting LinkedIn acc banned

I got tier 2 from this appsumo deal.

Connected my LI ACC and did a very small campaign only to test the product.

The next day I received a message from LI while logging in "We found you maybe using some automation tool for LinkedIn, it is against our terms and policy and we ask you to accept this message else you account will get permanently closed down"

So I applied for a refund now with appsumo.

Dont want to use this tool and get my acc banned.

The main pain point for me is the disconnect between creating a list and running a campaign. Rather than select the list you've created you have to export the list, then import it back into the system.

This deal is now a no-brainer

I got Closely a while back and have used it off and on. In the year or so since I got it, it has exploded. The way that it works now is phenomenal. It is hands down the best LinkedIn tool in my toolbox currently. In one place I can create campaigns, see at a glance how my campaigns are doing, engage with people, and if I want, send them emails. It is now a really robust tool that I highly recommend.

Overall, a great investment

I have been using Closely for months, so far I have only had difficulties twice, the first (which was in fact with the first campaign) I received great attention from the support team.
The second is a problem accessing the panel, apparently the access form freezes (it happened to me a few hours ago... waiting for help)

The features and configurations are incredible, a great investment without a doubt.

Good value for the money

I reviewed a few Linkedin interaction and scraping tools in the market and Closely seems fairly advanced compared to others.

Pros:
1. Scraping emails credits only counts for those that are found;
2. You can do linkedin + email interactions allowing tactics like triple tap (phone + linkedin + email);
3. It's possible to extract only the valid contacts to add to your CRM;

Cons:
1. It doesn't support UTF-8 so any latin characters are broken (sucks to me, but Bodgan said they'll solve it soon);
2. There's no API so I can't trigger flows, ask for email extractions though it or directly integrate with any CRM;
3. All future features are only those of personal plan which is risky in my opinion.

Improvements I'd like to see:
1. Ability to do more actions like "scrape about info", "scrape experience", "scrape posts" (given a # of posts) and "scrape website" (if found);
2. Ability to add your own OpenAI key or other models;
3. The possibility to mix the above two in all text related messages to compose variable parts using data extracted transformed by AI, then joined with spintax written by us.

A nice-to-have:
Ability to add overages to our accounts with "early-supporters pricing", such as more linkedin profiles, more emails and more credits.
