Bain Cert tiene mucho potencial, sin embargo como usuario de LATAM, un requisito importante para LATAM es que tenga la pasarela de pago “MERCADOPago" https://www.mercadopago.com/ que es muy utilizado en Latinoamérica.
He comprado Tier 5, hice la sugerencia y requerimiento pero veo que ya hicieron un pedido similar hace 2 años y a la fecha no está implementado. Si desean llegar lejos deberían implementar con urgencia e integrar la pasarela "MercadoPago", de lo contrario lamentablemente tendré que solicitar un reembolso.

BrainCert is a fantastic program which includes everything you need to manage a serious learning management platform with multiple instructors, course providers and interactive learning. The support team have been very responsive and the tech team have really thought through the application and obviously built LMSes previously.

If you are a one-person course provider there are better options out there as BrainCert is a little too fully featured for small providers. The landing page system needs some serious work but if you are looking to create or manage a major education portal BrainCert is an amazing program.

I feel really bad giving this product a bad review, but hopefully I can get a solution to the website builder.I was having a bad experience when trying to create another page. I wish I was able to add a website template or something to it. I know the dev will be reaching out sooner or later. I want to refund this product but ill wait to see what solution he will come with before I do so. I am looking forward to hearing from you buddy.

The only question that remains is financing, for their future, but complete it is!

The process of setting up a course where I first have to enter all the content in a different place, then later creating a course, and then later adding each and every piece of content in the course in a third place, mad this hard to use. Then on top of that people have to register and create an account, before they can even see the course sales page, is just killing conversions. Plus it's a lack of tutorials.

BrainCert carries an array of over 300 features and integrations, allowing the creation of engaging learning experiences through gamification, whiteboards, learning paths, assignments, email marketing, amongst others.

BrainCert has been a game-changer for me in my journey as an educator. This platform empowers me to create and sell online courses, host live classes, offer bundles, assessments, and even sell shippable products, all from one place!

The user-friendly interface makes it easy for me to design engaging courses and set up live sessions effortlessly. I love how BrainCert handles everything from course creation to payment processing, allowing me to focus on what I do best: teaching.

In fact I just stopped my renewal on another one Newzen*

So I've been around the block when it comes to them.

None seemed to hit the nail on the head for me.

I had seen BrainCert here for a while and of course when I saw it was ending soon and that I had to think about the next LMS that suited my currents needs I thought..

So the good:
Easy to use
Has many features such as courses, assessments, multiple types of uploads, gamification, cname and more
Support is very responsive and open to suggestions

The not so good:
some of the workflows could be improved - already talked to support and they are going to look into it (for example the need to put a course in checkout, then click checkout, then create an account and then checkout) - not a biggy but I think it could be smoother.
in order to add content to your course, you must go to one section of the site, upload it, then return to your course and add it from there - I would love the option to upload it while I am creating a module - again no biggy I just prefer my workflow mentioned above.

Overall the system is really robust, the website editor is complex but allows a lot of flexibility - but not for the faint-hearted as it is not as easy to drag and drop compared to other systems.

But what seals the deal for me is the responsiveness of the support and how open they are to ideas.

I have no problem giving this 5 tacos as it ticks all the boxes that I need for a good LMS

and it's at a great price!

I have full-stacked on BrainCert, as the team seem to be highly engaged with developing this product. They seem to be listening carefully & reacting to all of the comments being made here, and on their BrainCert Community Facebook group.
The new Code Injection tool could be a game-changer!

I believe this is one of the most promising LMS on Appsumo. It provides assessment, course, live class, attendance, quiz, and digital product.

Without a doubt that this is the most complete LMS that has ever been offered on Appsumo.

However, it still needs improvement in UI/UX.

Here is my suggestion to improve braincert:
1) allotted time for sub test inside a test
2) UI for all question number in the test/quiz, so user can jump into the question that they want easily
3) access code for giving access to the course beside payment (so we can sell on other platform)
4) one flow creating the course (category can be toggled when creating course)
5) Creating questions from pdf or word with AI
6) increasing overall performance of the platform (speed)
7) options to make the quiz/assessment live show (like kahoot)
8) Grey labeled mobile app
9) Indonesian payment method (I'm from Indonesia)
10) UI/UX improvement so the user doesn't feel overwhelmed with so much menu and toggle. Simplifying the UI without reducing the feature.

➡️ A LOT of BASIC functions are missing.

1. No manual badge assignment. This is just an opinion, but before making an automatic badge assignment feature, shouldn't instructors have the capability to assign one manually first? The manual assignment is a basic function, while the automatic assignment is advanced.

2. No real-time or intuitive notification for students having a discussion inside a particular course that encourages fun learning. Basically, it feels like you are learning alone. You might even miss out on other students' opinions on a discussion because there's no notification unless you REMEMBER to check back MANUALLY.

3. When an enrolled student shares a direct link to a course with another student who is not enrolled in the course, the UI either allows access inside the unenrolled course without content display or displays the course's sales page as an iframe inside the unenrolled course - instead of properly redirecting unenrolled students towards the sales page.

4. One of the most important "BASIC" LMS functions is missing. Unique instructor access, which means - an instructor should not be able to edit or delete another instructor's course.

>This is already under development but there are new possible problems for this as well because it's not properly mentioned in the roadmap if they are addressing it. They only mentioned "Restrict instructors to their own content in course creator plans"

They might be working on the restrictions. But will SUPERADMIN be able to,

❌ Restrict instructors from using the UPLOADED CONTENT

❌ Restrict instructors from using the SCORM CONTENT

❌ Restrict instructors from using BrainCert virtual classroom to avoid sharing limited monthly resources BUT allow them for CUSTOM LINK so they can schedule live classes using third-party meeting apps.

❌ Restrict instructors from recording classes using the BrainCert virtual classroom.

❌ Restrict instructors from creating NEW landing pages, but able to duplicate existing landing pages created by SUPERADMIN

❌ Restrict instructors from creating NEW content pages, but able to duplicate existing content pages created by SUPERADMIN

❌ Restrict instructors from accessing ONLINE STORE.

❌ Restrict the limit of courses an instructor could create.

These restrictions, when not provided can easily deplete SUPERADMINS resources such as storage, and course limitations. It also limits unified branding.

Even if it can be requested, it might take years because they are more into "advanced" features rather than the foundational ones. So basically you are limited as a SUPERADMIN for now.

➡️ A lot of things don't make sense when it comes to UX/UI

1. Very hard to add texts to video lessons. For example, if you want to add a few instructor notes as a description to a video lesson, you would have to create it as content first instead of just typing the text below the video attachment and saving the text. It's like a basic LMS function.

2. If your branding does not complement purple, then you are out of luck. Because you cannot edit the welcome banner and global link color - it's purple ONLY.

3. There's no way to delete or edit default content pages (Sales & Marketing > Website > Content Pages) which defeats the purpose of whitelabelling. It has BrainCert branding on it.

4. It's very hard to organize content (Products > Contents). It's all list view, point, and click. No grid view, drag and drop.

5. It displays disabled sections and just says "this section is disabled" rather than properly redirecting or hiding the disabled section.

6. Redundancy on navigations which confuses users. "Courses" on the left panel, "Courses" on the header. But shows different contents. Can't use the language settings for this one because they are both the same.

7. The toggle to hide the table of contents of a course is on the right side of the screen. Why not on the table of the content area itself?

8. Only two login templates with limited editing capabilities. It even shows a hamburger menu on mobile even if there's no submenu active. Even a basic sign-in module with a logo on top is not available.

9. On the mobile view, you have a hamburger menu on the left side for the left panel, a hamburger menu on the right side for header contents, and a profile dropdown menu. Not for professional use because it doesn't look professional.

10. Overall mobile view navigation doesn't make sense professionally. If the solution to this is the upcoming mobile app, then that would defeat the purpose of white labeling because the upcoming app will have Braincert branding. So for users who want full whitelabeling, they would have to deal with a mobile web view that doesn't make sense, or wait longer and spend for a whitelable mobile app.

➡️ Bugs Bugs Bugs

I have submitted more than 40 tickets since purchasing. Approx. 85% of it is about bugs.

A LOT OF BUGS. Serious caching issue. And some of it is still unresolved.

1. Logos and course images are missing (ticket May 8, 2024)

2. CSS/JS Code Inject is not saving input (ticket May 7, 2024).

3. Padding issues with iframe contents within a lesson (since April 14, 2024)

4. Interface language not fully working. After renaming "Courses", it still displays "Courses". After renaming "Enroll Now", it still displays "Enroll Now" (since April 14, 2024, still unresolved)

5. When uploading an image for an assessment, there's an Internal Server Error (since April 20, 2024, still unresolved).

I'm happy that I bought it from Appsumo. I have approximately a month left to see how this unfolds.

🏆 Overall, I gave it 3 tacos because it has better potential compared to other Lifetime Deal LMS I have tried.

Ya, what more is there to say? It is the best thing on this earth. I won't get you to heaven, but that is another topic if you have time. Get it. Try it. It won't be around for long!
