Invoicing Solution for Small Businesses To Get Paid Faster

I recently purchased Billed here on AppSumo, and while I like the majority of the UI, it could be better.

For example, I was inputting some previously paid expenses and invoices sent into Billed. While the date of the expenses were different, Billed showed them all in the month in which they were approved. This is a different user experience from the Invoices view. The invoices were different dates and yet they were marked as paid all on the same day. The invoices appeared in the Dashboard in the month that they were supposed to.

This is just something to be aware of when you are putting information in the first time into Billed.

The app is not functioning at its full capacity. To send quotes or invoices it loads indefinitely. Had to write support to fix this issue. I love the services they offer and hope they will stay behind their promises.

I've been using Quickbooks for almost 18 years and growing less fond of it with each year. I don't need the Payroll feature that is forced on me and features have been removed that I do need.

Soooo, I find Billed on AppSumo. It looks like it might be just what I need. I haven't spent a lot of time with it yet other than going through the basic setup. That was very quick and easy to do, and invoicing with recurring invoicing is a feature I need. The UI seems to be pretty straight forward and well thought out. I look to seeing the reports once the invoices are entered. That will be important.

I haven't reached out to their support yet to see if I can import my QB data as that would save me a great deal of time setting this up. I also haven't tried connecting either PayPal or Stripe yet. I have seen complaints about that here and hope Billed has improved that feature.

I do all my work on my computer in my office and as such, don't concern myself with the mobile app side of things. So I cannot comment on any app features. But who knows, if that works well, I might be able to leave my office someday if the app allows me to do that.

I will report back once I actually begin trying to send invoices. I hope this will be the answer to my QB problems. No matter what, I will not be refunding this as it was worth the money just to see what I might be able to do with it.

We just got Billed a few days ago and set up both my wife's business on it along with my own. We weren't sure if we'd have to get a refund on it if it didn't work for us, but I was surprised at how easy it was to set up and how quickly it came together. I'm just thrilled with it, actually. I'd been looking for something like this and didn't want to pay the prices I was seeing for things like quickbooks and freshbooks.
So far, this has been an incredible purchase. Very happy with it. I've contacted support a couple times already as I've been setting things up and got a response back within about a day.
Before, I was using excell, just setting up my own spreadsheet to keep all my records. It was fine, but this is really slick, keeps everything together, and allows my business to grow in a professional directions!
Oh, and I can't forget about the app. It was easy to install and setup, and switching back and forth between businesses on it is simple.

I really enjoyed the product, and I'm eagerly awaiting the roadmap development. Despite the negative reviews, I fully understand the challenges of product development as a founder. I appreciate the generous offer from the founders as it allows us to invest and reap the benefits in the future. I have invested in many Appsumo products at their early stages and have faith in the team, as this is not their first successful product. I do hope that they can accelerate the development process a bit faster so that early stage investors like myself can benefit from the accounting feature soon. So far, everything has been working excellently and efficiently.

I wish the founders the best of luck. I am very satisfied with Tier 04.

I worked with a lot of programs and billed is set up for greatness; if it’s finished like they are proposing that is….

It lacks speed… everywhere!
It lacks fast preview of invoices that are being made.
It’s extra note text on the invoice is being cropped like 1 text alinea block. Even tho I used enter to divide the extra note message. (Very annoying);
PayPal and stripe does not activate ideal so Europeans can pay directly. And trying to pay by mobile it’s not working. It took me 14 minutes to find out that it’s useless. I ended up not paying because of faulty links and pages that just don’t seem to open.

I made a lot of people and friends buy this problem now every one is complaining to me abou the things mentioned above.

I've been talking with their customer support people for more than 8 weeks. I started with a trial account and then bought the paid account based upon them promising they would fix a simple "city" and "state" field on the invoices. You cannot use the software because it doesn't print a remit address in US format for a vendor to send a check to.. It does zero good to have software that you have to edit each invoice after you make it by typing your own address on it.. It's like using a typewriter. I've been emailing with the support team and owner for 8 weeks about this.. and every response I get is .. we'll have this fixed in two days. 8 weeks!

LOTS of problems.

- I broke down my client list into under 500 each upload so it would work because over 500 per upload causes an error.
- I am able to upload now, but it doesn't import all contacts. I don't know which ones are missing, I just see the total number.
- You have no filters, or column settings so I can't filter contacts properly.
- You have only one "Name" field when importing instead of "First Name" and "Last Name" or which causes the uploads not to work properly for csv files with names that need to be categorized separately.
- There is no bulk delete option for contacts, so I can't delete them all to re-import properly.

SO many problems here.

I like it! I really do!
What I like:
1- easy to use
2- templates available
3-It is very similar to Invoice Ninja, my favorite so far,
4- it is much cheaper than Invoice Ninja
5- It has more functions.
6- it is more user friendly.

What I do not like that much (but easily fixable)
1- I see no reason why the company and client's addresses and other data mist be preceded by "name:" "address primary:" "email:" and things like that. I find it to be redundant and really useless. I wish it was not there.

Please, get rid of these minor issues and I'd love upgrading to a higher tier.

I purchased this to replace Freshbooks. Freshbooks was great, but the functionality wasnt the greatest after a number of phone updates. This product is very very similar but for a fraction of the price. If you are looking for an in depth tutorial, take a look at freshbooks, the information there will translate to billed.

I am using Billed to track my freelance podcast production income & expenses, and there are a few things I need to make this product work for me. 1) Fix- The invoice does not show my complete address (missing the City and State), 2) Fix- the Reference number I added shows up the first time but it is just the number - nothing says reference # on PDF, and the second time No Reference # at all, 3) need to be able to manually input/change the paid date for the invoice, and 4) Fix - I manually marked an invoice paid, and it still shows the invoice outstanding in the system. I would also recommend editing the emails that go out. There are grammatical errors in the templates. Overall, the product has the potential to be great. I would love to get an in-depth demo or tutorial to help me but I am finding it easy to work with.

I have tried some Invoice and accounting apps on appsumo, and all did not match with my need.
But this apps billed is the best apps for invoice and accounting.

It come with mobile apps as well so we as
owner can monitor the money condition all tim anywhere.

saya tidak sabar menunggu fitur chart of account nya, semoga segera rilis dalam waktu dekat, agar bisa menghasilkan laporan laba rugi, neraca, dan cashflow langsung dari aplikasi ini.

I have tried several invoicing and accounting applications on Appsumo, and all of them do not suit my needs.

Finally I found this app "Billed", it combines invoicing and accounting features in one app, it's brilliant. so that we can immediately find out the financial condition of our business.

"Billed" also has a mobile application, a real breakthrough that is rarely found in other competitors. so we can monitor the financial condition of our business from anywhere.

This is a must buy deal.

Can't wait for the chart of accounts feature, hopefully it will be released in the near future, so we can create profit and loss reports, balance sheets and cash flow report directly from "Billed".
